Well, my Solstice gifts for Mombi are all wrapped and under the Christmas tree. Now comes the hard part... trying to resist inviting her to open them right away! I'll be fairly free of temptation until she gets hers for me wrapped, but after that we're doomed!

Your posts always make me laugh! Nick and I always have a hard tiem holding out until Christmas. But this year will be different with him being in Iraq. :( Good luck to you in trying to wait 6 more nights until you let the wrapping paper fly all over!
That is funny. We had one year where we ended up opening half of our gifts early, and then we replaced them with more presents for Christmas. It was fun.

special k is hopeless with surprises like christmas presents. this year i have double wrapped all of her presents, put them all in a big box and tied 6 ribbons around the box with double knots so there'll be no secret rummaging around in that box before christmas day. for the same reason, we will be finding out the sex of our baby at the 19 week ultrasound - she just couldn't bear waiting till the end of the pregnancy!
