Full Body Pregnancy Simulator (with storage case)

Ever wonder how L&D nurses and OBs get their first practice? I stumbled across this product while looking for images of fetal location during development.

thats an interesting mannequin. when I was in nursing school we had mannequins with interchangable parts. It was always interesting to get a bunch of naughty nursing students with a severe lack of sleep together with those.

Thanks for the comment, Michell! I was rather hoping that some of you nurses would weigh in on this one. :)

By the way, you can post the link with html. Just click on the html tab when writing your post and write something like this:

hope that works...

We never used mannequins in nursing school and I'd be surprised if new L&D nurses do. I think you usually get thrown into post partum for a bit then trained for L&D.

I was also lucky enough to go to a school where everyone did an L&D rotation. I promise that nothing beats seeing a live birth and I got to see three!
